Our Story
Sustainable Solutions (Environmental, Safety and Health for Business) Ltd was born from the natural progression of our training company, Train to Safety Ltd. While delivering expert training to help organisations protect their people and operations, we were increasingly called upon to provide hands-on support — solving real-world challenges directly on-site.

Sustainable Solutions helped our business with a CDOIF report, i.e. an environmental tolerability risk assessment which was requested by the agencies. The consultant was easy to work with, and fully understanding of the business position we were in. The created report was fully comprehensive and when we submitted this to the Environment Agency, they were full of praise.
We had an issue with our insurers who were refusing to insure us until we conducted a DSEAR assessment on our Paint spray booth. (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres). The DSEAR assessment raised a few issues but what we liked about the consultant from Sustainable Solutions was in the way he worked with us to overcome the problems. They didn’t just say, “This aspect was unacceptable, and you need to fix it”, but more like, “This is the problem; there are 3 ways you can overcome it and this is the positive and negative aspect on each option”.
